“Get Real with Food”
Come join us Sunday, January 8, as we begin an eight-week, New-Year’s journey where we look at our relationship with food in a real way while we cook, eat, and learn together.  We will also explore the book “Food and Love” by Gary Smalley. The class will meet at 12:30 pm immediately after the 11:00 service in the U-2 Room (and Kitchen). This class is limited to 24 adults.  You may sign up on the sheet provided on the sign-up table in the back of the sanctuary. Contact Gary Hutchinson at 859-653-9732 for more information.

Health care workers hold a special place in our society. They care for us when we are the most vulnerable and helpless. The needs of the patient or consumer are always their top priority. But who cares for them when they have challenging and emotionally charged events to deal with daily?  This group is specially designed for these caregivers.  The goal is to allow health care workers to reaffirm their commitment to caring through the use of scripture, shared storytelling, and reflection. Through this reaffirmation comes the discovery of how to share their unique talents and gifts for the benefit of the faith community.
