Key Provisions of the Safe Sanctuary Policy

  • Children and youth are to be supervised during all children/youth ministries’ activities.
  • Two Safe Sanctuary trained adults must be present during children/youth ministries’ activities.
  • All children and youth ministries in open view.
  • Adult servants must be regular attendees for 6 months minimum prior to supervising children/youth ministries’ activities.
  • Background checks for adult servants complatedevery 3 years, minimum.
  • Annual Safe Sanctuary training required for all adult servants.
